S3XY BUTTONS
Other cost-saving measures in the base Model 3/Y include the removal of other functionalities which you can bring back with a set of four wireless buttons called S3XY Buttons.
These buttons can be placed almost anywhere inside the car.
One button can act as a direct replacement for the removed seat controls. You can configure single- and double-press actions: for example, a single press moves the driver’s seat forward, pressing it again stops the movement, and a double press starts sliding the seat backward.
Another button can be mounted above the rear fan, as a replacement for the removed rear screen, and set as a toggle to enable or disable the air vent.
You could also place one just behind the steering wheel, between it and the integrated stalk, and assign the strobe-light function, including a configurable number of flashes. A second button on the opposite side of the steering wheel can be used for quick regen-braking controls.
And these are just a few examples. You can choose from over 200 different actions, assignable to single press, double press, or even macros.
