Will using your products void my Tesla warranty?
We understand the importance of maintaining your vehicle’s warranty, and we’re happy to reassure you. To date, from thousands of users, we have not received a single report of our devices voiding Tesla warranties.
Important Considerations:
The only situation where a warranty could potentially be impacted is if a specific vehicle component fails or malfunctions, and it can be proven that the third-party accessory directly or indirectly caused the issue. In such cases, the component affected may have a limited warranty, and Tesla may charge for diagnosing or replacing this specific part.
Our Recommendation:
To ensure a smooth experience, we always recommend removing the accessory (Commander and its harness) before visiting a Tesla service centre. Different service centers may approach third-party accessories differently, and they might quickly attribute issues to the accessory without a thorough investigation. Removing the device beforehand ensures your vehicle can be fully checked without additional complications.
Additionally, Tesla service centres might charge a fee to remove the accessory themselves, and there’s even the chance they may not reinstall it once removed. Removing it yourself before the service appointment helps you avoid these extra charges.
How secure is the S3XY Commander? Can it be hacked?
We implemented 5 layers of security that are enough to stop hackers or thieves from accessing your car from our device:
1. Custom end-to-end encryption for communication between all the components (Phone, Commander, and Buttons).
2. Our device refuses any additional connection requests unless a physical Connect button is pressed inside the car. The steering wheel button must be double-pressed to continue pairing when connecting from an unrecognized phone. This prevents anyone outside the car from connecting to the system.
3. The Commander disables its wireless connections (Bluetooth and Wi-Fi) if there is nobody in the car, making it hard for attackers to attempt remote access when you're away.
4. The Commander doesn’t recognize any RAW messages, only the specific functions supported by our app. This means potential attackers can’t exploit other functionalities or manipulate the system like they might with common OBD dongles. They also can't listen to or inject raw signals.
5. There is enhanced internal security logic inside the Commander. For example, the Unlocking feature only works if someone is sitting in the driver's seat.
Even if someone tries to bypass the first layer using methods like BIAS, the other layers (2, 3, 4, and 5) ensure that the access gained is harmless to your vehicle.
We use the ESP32 module in the Commander with all the latest security updates from its manufacturer (Espressif). All security features of the ESP32 are enabled, including Secure Boot, Flash & NVS Encryption, with chip-level fuse protection and unique encryption keys per device. Even if someone hacks one unit on a bench, the same method cannot be applied to other devices remotely.
Additionally, our OTA binary and App communication are encrypted independently using separate protocols.
When will my order be shipped, and how long does delivery take?
All orders are processed and dispatched promptly. We follow fixed delivery timeframes as outlined below:
- Express Shipping: 2–4 business days
- Standard Shipping: 5–10 business days
These shipping times are consistent across all countries we deliver to.
Exceptions:
- Pre-orders: Items marked as pre-orders follow different shipping schedules communicated on the product page or via email.
- Scheduled Shipping: A product with a designated shipping date will be clearly stated on the product page at the time of purchase.
VAT (Value Added Tax) – Is it included, and how is it paid?
For EU customers:
All orders shipped to countries within the European Union include VAT, which is automatically calculated and applied at checkout. The price you see on the website is final, and no additional VAT or customs fees will be required upon delivery.
For non-EU customers:
For orders shipped outside the European Union, VAT and any applicable import duties are not included in the purchase price. These charges are subject to your country's local tax laws and customs regulations, and are typically collected separately by the shipping carrier.
The shipping company will contact you if any VAT or import fees are due. Payment of these charges is required before your order can be delivered.
If you’re unsure about your country’s import tax policies, we recommend checking with your local customs authority for detailed information.

I already own S3XY Buttons or Commander. Can I purchase only the S3XY Knob/ S3XY Stalks?
Currently, you can purchase the S3XY Knob or the S3XY Stalks as a standalone unit/s.
What Tesla software versions are supported by the buttons?
You can check all supported versions here:https://enhauto.com/supported-tesla-versions
We often release a new version of the software with new features or improvements.
If Tesla makes changes that break some functionalities, we will adapt our software as soon as possible.
Compatibility updates are guaranteed during the warranty period of our device.
Why are my rear lights flickering after installing the S3XY Commander?
If you're experiencing flickering rear lights, it may be caused by the Rear Daytime Running Lights automation, which is currently still in BETA.
While the feature works well for most users, a small number may notice flickering depending on their vehicle configuration. If you're among those affected, we recommend turning off this specific automation in the S3XY App settings until a stable update is released.
Can I connect more than one phone to the S3XY Commander?
Yes — the S3XY Commander supports connection with up to 5 different phones.
However, please note that while multiple phones can be paired, the S3XY App can only function on one phone at a time.
This means:
- Only one user can actively use the app (e.g., make changes or access the S3XY Dashboard) at any given moment.
- To switch control, make sure the app is closed on any other connected phones before opening it on the one you want to use.
What is the maximum number of devices I can connect to the Commander?
Currently, the Commander supports up to 8 devices.
Is it possible to use the S3XY App with 2 different Teslas, when each Tesla has its own Commander?
Yes, definitely. The S3XY App is designed for more than one car (Commanders).
Just click on the top right of the Home screen of the app to add new cars or to switch between them.
What functions are supported currently and do you plan to add new in the future?

How does Continuous Autopilot work?
Continuous Autopilot is a feature that allows Autopilot to automatically re-engage after manual lane changes, streamlining long-distance driving.
For All Models Except Model Y Juniper
Requirements:
On your Tesla’s main screen, go to Autopilot settings and set Autopilot engagement to double press of the stalk or scroll wheel (depending on your model).
⚠️ Important: Continuous Autopilot will not work with single-press activation.
Setup Steps:
- Enable Continuous Autopilot via the S3XY Buttons App.
- Set your preferred re-engagement timer (e.g., 3 seconds).
While driving:
- Engage Autopilot normally.
- When you want to change lanes:
1. Activate the turn signal.
2. Manually change lanes by steering. This will disengage Autopilot.
3. Once the signal turns off (automatically or manually), Autopilot will re-engage automatically after the set timer.
