Access Tesla Track Mode Controls Faster

Track Mode is one of the most adrenaline-pumping features Tesla has ever introduced to Model 3 and Model Y Performance vehicles. It is designed to optimize your performance on the track by adjusting the handling and the stability of your car.
With update 6.4 you can now adjust these settings through your S3XY Buttons and Knob, as well as fine-tune some additional controls which you are going to learn more about in this article.
But if you prefer to see them in action, you can check the video below:
Track Mode Controls
You can now activate Tesla Track Mode on any Performance vehicle out there, including the new Model Y Juniper Performance on which is not yet officially available.
Through our S3XY products you can also tweak various settings such as:
- The Handling to adjust the power distribution and torque between the front and the rear during turns. Most drivers prefer a 0/100 front-to-rear setup, effectively making the car rear-wheel drive. However, we’ve heard that on ice tracks, some drivers favor a 20/80 split for better control. Ultimately, it’s up to you - just be careful!
- The Stability, which defines how much assistance the ESP provides when maintaining control of the vehicle. It doesn’t completely turn it off like our Drift Mode which you can learn more about here.
Adaptive Damping
For Highland and Juniper Models we included controls for the Adaptive Damping, allowing you to choose between three different modes:
- Standard - it reduces the damping force of the suspension to allow for a smoother ride.
- Sport - it increases damping stiffness for a firmer and more responsive ride.
- Track - allows for maximum control and optimized performance on track circuits.
Stats
These changes will not be reflected on the Tesla screen, but you can use the S3XY Dash or the S3XY App Dashboard Mode on your phone to monitor various car data, including:
- Turning Track Mode On/Off
- Handling
- Stability
- Brake temperature on each wheel
- Total power output
- Maximum Discharge
- Battery Temperature
And much more.
Conclusion
Track Mode is a very fun feature that we simply couldn’t skip on so we had to add it to our S3XY Products. We believe that bringing these settings to our products will help create a more enjoyable experience on the track.
