My Tesla Is Not Falling Asleep | Temporary Fix

With Tesla rolling out the Spring Update (2026.14), some users have reported that their vehicles are not entering sleep mode when the Commander is plugged in. This issue appears more frequently on Highland models, but other vehicles may also be affected.
As of April 23rd, some of our vehicles have received this update, and our development team is actively working on a solution. This article will be updated regularly with our progress, and once a fix is available, it will be announced here – so be sure to check back.
Temporary Workaround
In the meantime, we’ve introduced a temporary workaround to help your Tesla fall asleep properly.
You can enable the “Commander Restart on Car Lock” option, which automatically restarts the Commander when the vehicle is locked and unoccupied.
How to enable it:
- Open the S3XY App
- Go to the Commander tab
- Scroll to the bottom
- Select Safety & Security
- Enable Commander Restart on Car Lock
Important Notes
Keep in mind that features such as Regen and Acceleration Mode will reset once you exit the vehicle. This means you will need to re-activate them through your S3XY products each time, until the issue is fully resolved.
We’re On It
We apologize for the inconvenience. As always, we continuously adapt to changes introduced by Tesla updates, and we are already working on a proper fix - just as we have successfully done in the past.
Make sure to revisit this article regularly for updates and the final solution announcement.
