Smart Ambient Lighting for Tesla Model 3 & Y | The S3XY Strip
The S3XY Strip is our fully customizable ambient light strip, designed for the Model 3 and Y vehicles. It was inspired by the built-in RGB interior lights of the Highland and Juniper models, but in the spirit of our company, we had to make it smarter and more functional.
It enhances your Tesla’s interior with a more premium look while also delivering intelligent alerts based on driving conditions - including blind spot warnings, turn signal indications, Autopilot status, and a range of dynamic animation effects.

Smart Alerts and Warnings
Here are some of the lighting effects currently available for the S3XY Strip:
- Blind Spot Assist: Flashes in a selected color when a vehicle is detected in your blind spot.
- Turn Signals: Pulses in sync with your turn indicators.
- Autopilot: Changes color when Autopilot is engaged and blinks when the hands-on-wheel warning gets triggered.
- Speed Limit Alert: Pulses when you exceed the speed limit.
- Charging Animation: Displays a flowing “charging” effect while your battery is charging.
- Sentry Mode Alert: Triggers a flashing alert if someone attempts to open the door while Sentry Mode is active.
- Acceleration Mode Indicator: Changes color based on your selected driving mode — Chill, Standard/Sport, or Insane (Performance models).
- Greeting Animation: Plays a welcome animation when you open the door.
- Battery Preconditioning: Changes color when preconditioning is requested, then shifts again once the battery begins warming up.
Customizations
Like all S3XY products, the Strip is fully customizable. You can assign custom colors to each alert and choose your preferred animation style for every effect. If you’re unsure which style to use, you can preview animations directly — no need to have the car in motion.
You can also adjust brightness levels and enable “Night Mode”, which automatically dims the Strip for evening driving. This ensures a comfortable experience without glare or reflections, even during night drives.
