Battery Preheating

Preconditioning the battery for fast charging normally occurs when you navigate to a Supercharger. However, sometimes the nearest station is too close and your battery may not be warm enough by the time you get there.

Another issue is that you have zero control over the heating process, so you might be wasting energy unnecessarily.

However, with the S3XY Buttons you can manually preheat the battery at any time and through the App you can set a target marker to ensure that your battery is warmed up at an optimal temperature for fast charging. We recommend heating it to 40℃.

Regen Controls

Unless you own a Performance model, you do not have control over the Tesla’s regenerative braking. 

However, with the S3XY Buttons, you can increase or lower the regen levels in 25% increments, or you can completely disable it.  Some drivers like to keep the recuperation at 100%, but others find it too aggressive - especially if they are with passengers who experience all the jerky motions of the sudden deceleration in stop and go traffic.

If you reduce the regen to 75%, or even cut it in half, it would allow for a much smoother ride. 

 

Hazard Lights Shortcut

Many drivers use their hazard lights to communicate with others on the road - for example, to say "thank you" when another driver lets them merge into their lane. However, in a Tesla, the hazard light button is mounted overhead next to the dome lights, making it less convenient to reach without taking your attention away from the road.

With the S3XY Buttons, you can mount a button anywhere that's most comfortable for you and trigger your hazard lights with a single press. You can configure the lights to flash one to three times, or even use a truck-style sequence that flashes left, right, then left again.
